Robert J. Pyle, CFP®, CFA, AEP
Robert founded Diversified Asset Management, Inc., in 1996 to provide personalized, comprehensive wealth management services to successful individuals, families, and business owners. His specialty is addressing the complex financial needs of self-employed professionals, corporate executives, and small- business owners. He has had the opportunity to share his insights as a frequent contributor to the BizWest and on Boulder’s 9News. He is also a past president of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council.
Robert received an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and M.S. and B.S. degrees in meteorology from Pennsylvania State University. He holds professional designations as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®). Prior to founding Diversified Asset Management, Inc., he worked with a local advisory firm in Boulder.
Like many of his clients, Robert takes full advantage of the environment in Boulder to pursue sports. He has completed over 250 races, including over 70 triathlons, 6 marathons, 21 half marathons, and more than 60 10Ks. The father of two boys, he has served as both a baseball coach and on the board of North Boulder Little League. In the summer of 2011, he led the 9/10 All Star Team to the district championship and a 2nd place finish in the state championships. In the summer of 2013, he was a coach for the 11/12 All Star team which won the district and state championships and participated in the Little League World Series regional championships in Waco, TX. In the winters, Robert enjoys skiing with his family.
Kathrin has 7 years’ experience in customer service in diverse fields and she has 3.5 years of experience working in the financial services industry. She is multilingual and is fluent in English, French and German.
She holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Geneva in Switzerland and her Bachelor’s thesis was on Adverse Selection in the Automobile Insurance Market. Her course work at the University of Geneva included Micro- and Macroeconomics, Statistics, Probability Theory, Mathematics, Econometrics and Numerical Methods. In addition, she has a European Foundation certificate in banking and a Swiss banking diploma from the Center for Young Professionals in Banking in Switzerland.
Her experience includes working for UBS in Switzerland as a trainee and as an e-banking support line advisor for 3.5 years. In addition, she has worked for BMW as a diplomatic sales trainee in Geneva, Switzerland. Finally, she has worked as a flight attendant and on the inflight product and services staff for Edelweiss Air in Zurich, Switzerland.
Kathrin has an executive certificate in Financial Planning from Pepperdine University in Malibu CA. She has passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) comprehensive exam and needs approximately 6 more months of experience to become certified. Her number one priority is delivering superior service to clients.
Yoga and traveling are Kathrin's favorite activities. She also enjoys hiking, scuba diving, cooking, discovering new music and attending concerts.
